This place is absolutely amazing! It's a hidden gem in the middle of Athens. Today was my first time visiting and Redstone did not disappoint.From the hot foods to the vast amounts of local food items, this place has it all. The brisket is extremely juicy and tender. The Mac and cheese is Devine, fried pork chops are soulful and juicy and smash burgers are really good too. The cookie was absolutely Devine with its soft texture and chocolatey insides. I will be a regular returning visitor lol!!!!

Whoever is responsible for smoking the brisket, make sure that you keep them. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the brisket was. My husband absolutely enjoyed it. I also tried a fresh homemade cookie. I definitely don't need sweets, but it was also yummy. This store is about 5 minutes from my home and I must say I will have to come in more often and check out their butcher and more items on the hot bar.

My fiancé & I have been in Athens for about a year now but only recently heard of this place so we decided to check them out on Valentines Day (02/14/26) to do a cute steak night at home. We walked in and were immediately blown away. The market itself is so organized and the products that they carry are amazing quality! Plus it’s literally an entire market so you can grab everything you need to make a whole meal in one place which is so convenient. We made our way to the butcher counter and there was a line, which is to be expected on a busy night, especially with it being a Saturday and Valentine’s Day. Despite this, the guys behind the counter were so friendly and so kind! The guy who helped us pick out our steaks was joking and smiling the whole time. 10/10 customer service. The steak (NY Strip - last picture) was literally the perfect cut and was the best steak I’ve had in a long time - my fiancé got a ribeye and he said the same about his. Today, 02/18/26, we needed groceries for the week so we decided to come back to check out the rest of the butcher counter. We found out the sausages (pictured below) are made in house and the flavors rotate which is so cool. The prices are

Visited Redstone Market in Athens Georgia for second time in past year. The minute you walk in the smell is so delicious. Went right to the Smokehouse hot bar to order prepared food. It was so delicious the brisket, collard greens, Mac and cheese awesome. The fresh meats and seafood case is amazing. Friendly people who work there Dot, Allison and Slade were so helpful. Highly recommended this stop if you are on Jefferson Highway. Gas prices very reasonable here too. Funny gift shop for your Christmas gift ideas.

I've passed Redstone Market & Butcher countless times on my way to Athens, and I'm so glad I finally stopped in! What a fantastic and truly unique find! This market is a treasure trove of locally produced fresh foods. You can tell they put a lot of effort into sourcing. I was especially impressed with the immaculate butcher section It's incredibly clean and well-stocked with a wide variety of high-quality cuts, alongside an amazing selection of cheeses A true foodie paradise! Beyond the fresh meats, you'll find shelves stocked with delightful items like Redstone brand jams and preserves and a wide array of pickles and pickled goods to explore. They even carry fun local treats like Peches Georgia Peach Soda. Various products like peach soda, crackers, and sauces). And for sports fans, there's even a display of UGA memorabilia and signed jerseys making it more than just a market. A truly excellent local market with so much to explore. Definitely worth the stop! Because I don't drink, no idea about their huge alcohol section.
